I. Function

1.) The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office shall continue to formulate programs and projects base on the needs of the community and also with the guidance of national disaster framework and to establish and strengthen their capacities in building a highly responsive and proactive community working towards a safer environment and progressive society.

II. Objectives

  1. To strengthen the municipal disaster risk reduction and management system in accordance to the national disaster risk reduction and management framework.
  2. To enhance the capability of the community on facing disaster.
  3. To develop competencies of the disaster risk and vulnerability assessments.
